When I think about myself, I would say that I'm much more of a writer than a speaker. I always come up with new ideas and new topics to write about, and I do. But then sometimes, I never finish what I wanted to write. What do you call that?
A writer's block.
Instead of just sitting at one spot trying to rip your brains out to find something reasonable to write about to fill your paper or journal, shut down your laptop or close your notebook or whatever you were writing on. Go out. You will then find all sorts of inspiration and ideas that you otherwise wouldn't have thought about if you tried too hard to think.
I've seen a lot of people sit and stress about not getting their job done, but at the same time can't get their job done because their minds are filled with a giant hole of nothingness. And with this thought process going on, they will also feel that they would waste their time by not trying, and therefore remain seated with nothing else but the stress that's building up.
I've learned it the hard way that the thing you need is a break.
And when you do, you take a damn break.
